• Blackjack Is Like A Rollercoaster

    [ English ]

Blackjack is a game that somehow reminds me of a rollercoaster. Black jack is a game that begins slowly, but gradually picks up speed. As you ramp up your bankroll, you feel as though you are getting to the top of the coaster and then when you aren’t expecting it, the bottom falls out.

Blackjack is so very similar to a crazy ride the similarities are unreal. As is the case with the popular fairground experience, your blackjack game will peak and things will seem as though they are going great for awhile before it bottoms out once again. You have to be a blackjack player who is able to readjust to the ups and downs of the game simply because the game of black jack is packed full of them.

If you like the petite coaster, a coaster that cannot go too high or fast, then bet small. If you find the only way that you can enjoy the crazy ride is with a larger bet, then hop aboard for the roller coaster ride of your life on the monster coaster. The high stakes gambler will love the view from the monster rollercoaster because he/she is not thinking on the drop as they rush headlong to the top of the game.

A win goal and a loss limit works well in blackjack, but very few players adhere to it. In black jack, if you "get on the rollercoaster" as it is going up, that’s just great, but when the cards "go south" and the coaster starts to toss and turn, you had better escape in a hurry.

If you don’t, you may not necessarily recall how much you enjoyed the view while your bank roll was "up". The only thing you will remember is a lot of uncertainties, a nice ride … your head in the sky. As you are recounting "what ifs", you won’t clearly recall how "high up" you went but you will clearly recount that catastrophic fall as clear as day.
