I have bet on millions of hands of 21. I began sneaking into the gambling halls when I was sixteen. I have enjoyed online 21, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. Given all that I have still lost a lot of money at chemin de fer. The gambling halls have made it very hard to beat the casino.
I still enjoy the game and gamble on a regular basis. Over this time period I have played a variation of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get rich with this method or defeat the casino, still you will have a lot of fun. This tactic is built on the idea that chemin de fer seems to be a match of runs. When you are on fire your hot, and when you’re not you are NOT!
I gamble with basic strategy twenty-one. When I do not win I wager the table minimum on the successive hand. If I do not win again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the next hand again etc. As soon as I win I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I lower the action back down to the original bet.
I am very strict and never "chicken out". It gets very enjoyable on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in sequence your wagers go up very fast. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had fantastic runs a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the MGM a couple of years ago with $750 after 20 minutes using this method! And a number of months ago in Macau I left a game with $1200!
You have to understand that you can relinquish a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be aghast at the streaks you witness betting this way. Here is a chart of what you would wager if you continue winning at a $5 table.
Wager 5 dollar
Take 5 dollar paid to you, leave the first 5 dollar wager
Bet five dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $10
Wager $10
Take 10 dollar paid to you, leave the original 10 dollar wager
Wager $10
Leave $10 paid-out to you for a total bet of 20 dollar
Bet 20 dollar
Take 20 dollar paid to you, leave the first twenty dollar bet
Bet $20
Leave $20 paid-out to you for a total wager of forty dollar
Wager $40
Take $40 paid-out to you, leave the original forty dollar wager
Bet 40 dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $80
Wager eighty dollar
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the first 80 dollar bet
Bet eighty dollar
Leave $80 paid-out to you for a total bet of 160 dollar
Wager 160 dollar
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the first $160 bet
If you departed at this point you would be up three hundred and 15 dollars !!
It is hard to go on a streak this long, but it will happen. And when it does you must NOT alter and drop your bet or the end result will not be the same.
