Online Blackjack Articles
I have played millions of hands of twenty-one. I started sneaking into the gambling dens when I was sixteen. I have wagered on online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. With all that said I have still spent an abundance of cash at blackjack. The gambling dens have made it very hard to defeat the game.
I still enjoy the game and bet on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have enjoyed a type of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get rich with this tactic or defeat the house, however you will have an abundance of fun. This tactic is centered on the fact that 21 seems to be a game of runs. When you’re on fire your on fire, and when you’re not you are NOT!
I bet with basic strategy twenty-one. When I do not win I wager the table minimum on the successive hand. If I don’t win again I wager the table minimum on the subsequent hand again etc. As soon as I hit I take the payout paid to me and I wager the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the bet back down to the original amount.
I am very disciplined and never back out. It gets very thrilling sometimes. If you win a few hands in a row your wagers go up very fast. Before you know it you are betting $100-200/ hand. I have had fantastic runs a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Paris a few years ago with $750 after 30 minutes using this technique! And a couple of days ago in Vegas I left a game with $1200!
You have to understand that you can squander much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be amazed at the streaks you see gamble this way. Below is a chart of what you would bet if you kept winning at a $5 game.
Wager $5
Take five dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $5 wager
Wager $5
Leave $5 paid to you for a total bet of ten dollar
Bet 10 dollar
Take $10 paid to you, leave the original ten dollar wager
Bet $10
Leave 10 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of twenty dollar
Bet twenty dollar
Take 20 dollar paid to you, leave the first $20 wager
Wager twenty dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of forty dollar
Bet forty dollar
Take 40 dollar paid to you, leave the original forty dollar bet
Bet forty dollar
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 80 dollar
Bet 80 dollar
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the first $80 wager
Bet eighty dollar
Leave $80 paid-out to you for a total wager of one hundred and sixty dollar
Wager 160 dollar
Take 160 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial one hundred and 60 dollar wager
If you departed at this moment you would be up 315 dollar !!
It’s herculean to go on a streak this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you mustn’t deviate and lower your wager or the end result won’t be the same.
